At the National Zoo from now until December 30th, you can check out “Zoo Lights.” This events lets you into the zoo after normal operating hours (6:30 to 8pm) so you can wander around and admire LED light sculptures of various zoo animals. In addition, you can check out the various nocturnal animals rooting around outside, watch apes sleep in the primate house, and snag a cup of hot chocolate.
