Goodwill of Greater Washington is sponsoring a vintage trunk show at the Marimeko Concept Store in Silver Spring on August 21st starting at 5 pm. Select vintage clothing and fabrics from Goodwill will be for sale at Goodwill-level prices, not Marimekko-level prices. I love Marimekko, but cheap is one thing it is not. We won’t discuss the $60 t-shirt my husband persuaded me to buy last time I was there.

Although you are welcome to simply drop in, it would be appreciated if you can RSVP before August 18th to the DC Goodwill Fashionista. They will also be accepting donations of gently used clothing.

Marimekko is located fairly close to the Silver Spring Metro stop at 8519 Georgia Avenue.
